Chapter 45- In The End The night before Jess’s funeral, Andy and Juliet were having a particularly bad fight. Juliet insisted that Abbie go to a therapist, since it was “just obvious that the poor girl needs help.” Andy knew that a stranger would only make her uncomfortable, but she kept on insisting. Chapter 30- The Centaurs Abbie’s ears twitched to the sound of clopping hooves and shouting that seemed to be nearing her stall. Her eyes shot open and she did her best to look at what was happening through the iron bars that lined the top half of her front wall. When you're alone by yourself within the comforts of your own room, it's pleasant. Some people even prefer being completely alone to get work done or to just think. That's what most people think of when they think of  "alone." That isn't the bad alone, though. I'd rather be that alone. It's a safer, more pleasant alone. The painful alone is being surrounded by people talking, laughing, sitting with their friends, and you sitting there, longing for conversation with no one to talk to or around you. Almost like you’re quarantined; like you have a disease, or maybe you are a disease. A disease so horrible for someone to sit next to you bec
